Wi$e Up Program

We are proud to be in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau for the Wi$e Up program. This is the only federal agency with a mandate to formulate standards and policies to promote the welfare of wage-earning women, improve their working conditions, increase their efficiency, and advance their opportunities for profitable employment.

Wi$e Up is a financial education demonstration project targeted to Generation X Women ages 22 to 35. It was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau in support of the Department of Labor's Strengthening the Family Initiative. The Wi$e Up curriculum was developed by Texas Cooperative Extension under contract with the Women's Bureau.
